Speedy Wraps

Speedy wraps are a delicious substitute when tortillas aren’t available. We got the recipe from another cruiser and it’s been invaluable at helping cravings for tacos.

Makes about 20 wraps.

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt

Whisk dry ingredients together. Then stir in:

  • .5 cups oil
  • 1.25 cups boiling water

Stir until cool enough to kneed. Kneed until mixed. Let rest 15-30 minutes. Form into small balls, about one inch in diameter. Roll out on floured surface as thin as possible. Cook dry in nonstick pan. Flip when light brown spots form.

Enjoy with rice and beans or other filling of your choice.
