“It’s pretty but not good sailing.” -Tae

There has been plenty of fantastic sunsets and a few brilliant moon sets with these calm winds and seas. after way too much motoring, we are back to sailing again! It was a good opportunity to wash some clothes and empty the jerry cans from the deck into the tank. Fuel has been a constant concern and it’s been tough to decide if we should try to save fuel or bob along at a half of a knot.

Tae thought that he had a fish yesterday but by the time he got it reeled in, nothing was there. He continues to try.

We celebrated crossing north forty degrees latitude and our approximate halfway point with some delicious carrot cake that Dan made.

We have about 1370 miles to go. Dan has been feeding us well.

The author siphoning 6 20l diesel cans into the tank.

A flat dusk.

The aforementioned carrot cake.
